Achieving the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is no small feat, but DB Video has attained it with determination and expert guidance, marking a significant milestone as the first media company in Belgium to do so.
ISO 27001 is globally recognized as the highest standard in information security. It imposes stringent requirements on organizations to adopt a proactive and systematic approach to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. As of late February 2024, DB Video has achieved a successful transition audit for ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
What did the process entail?
We conducted risk analyses, formulated and implemented a security policy, defined access controls, provided awareness training, and continuously monitored and improved our processes. By establishing a robust framework for information security, we successfully attained the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification as well as the 27001:2022 certification by the end of February 2024.
